Home Fellowship

It's easy to look at Israel, the Middle East, war and turmoil, and know that something of Biblical importance is happening. There are prophecies in the Bible that explain the very things we're seeing today, but there is also a growing problem in the church. Many believers have an external focus while forgetting prophecies of internal matters: the human condition, cultural shifts, the church aligning to the world, Christians falling away from the faith, the increase of false doctrine, strong delusion, pastors and elders transitioning into ravenous wolves, and God's judgement coming first to the church. While false doctrines give them false assurance, they remain unaware of the gathering threats. Satan prevailing against the saints is actually prophetic according to the Bible.

Today, prominent pastors and denominations are teaching that the elect of God can take the mark of the beast and still enter heaven (hear it yourself). Signs of the end are everywhere.

It might sound strange to have church service at home, but it's actually quite normal when you consider early believers in 40AD and decades beyond. Finding a Bible-teaching church comes with great difficulty, it's one of many signs of the times. Yes, churches are everywhere. Churches of sound doctrine, however, are an extreme rarity in these last days.

Pray about it

Opening your home for Bible study and fellowship is no small thing. It is holy. Seek the Lord and He will guide you.

Tell your friends

If the Lord has directed you to have home fellowship, tell your friends about it. If you have left a church or are about to leave a church, invite the congregants to join you. Church division is usually thought of as a negative thing, but division for the sake of sound doctrine is very Biblical and very beautiful.

Order

Designate an authority figure who is a male, a believer of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit, and full of wisdom. This isn't about "sexism" at all, it is about covering, and coverings in both testaments (covenants) are always male. If you're gathering as women, designate an authority figure who is a female believer, of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit, and full of wisdom. If your gathering lacks the qualities of a good reputation, filled with the Holy Spirit and wisdom, it's okay for now. The Lord will raise up such people. It's very important to follow this structure in your fellowship no matter the size. If you're gathering as youth (school club, school lunch, on the football field, or on a college campus), let no one despise your youth. Whether male, female, young or old, the Lord uses anyone. He looks at the heart.

When you gather

Pray together. Pray for the needs of your fellowship. Pray for the Word to go forth and impact the hearts and minds of all who hear.

Study together. Have everyone open their Bibles and follow along in these studies:

Series 1: The Gospel
Series 2: Grow
Series 3: Discern

On the first Sunday of every month, partake in communion together.

Reach out to us

We will reach out to you during the seventieth week of Daniel. We are living in extremely Biblical times. Be ready, beloved saints. Our prayers are with you, and we send you our love.

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.

Jesus (Matthew 18:20)
